Why change our identity? After all, we  performed some beautiful music in the last 15 years as Taunton Camerata and fully intend to carry on doing so.  Since the appointment of Peter Leech as musical director, we feel we have reached a significant evolutionary point – we could stay the same, or we could change to reflect what is already happening.

There is a new emphasis on context through the pre concert talks, every programme has a story attached to it, and we have a real desire to bring this to our audiences – so now is the time to step into a new musical chapter for us all and explore even more beautiful music.
